BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Regions and Kayah, Rakhine and Easthern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Easthern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
