Land Depression Condition

            According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Land Depression has crossed near South of Phyu in Myanmar moved North-Northwestwards and persists near West of Yedashe. It is centered at about 40 miles South-Southeast of Aunglan, 90 miles Southeast of Magway and 50 miles South-Southwest of Naypyitaw, Myanmar.

It present state of Land Depression is coded as brown stage, it could cross from near West of Yedashe in Myanmar.

The Land Depression is located at Latitude 19.1 degree North and Longitude 95.8 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 1004 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 30 miles per hour at 10:30 hrs MST today.

            It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and may cross Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions during next 36 hours and weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area in this evening.

            Due to the Land Depression, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin. Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls during today afternoon to 1-10-2026. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
