According to the observations at 06:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression has crossed near Kyaikto in Myanmar moved North-Northwestwards and downgraded into a Land Depression. It is centered at about 30 miles South-Southeast of Phyu, 60 miles South-Southeast of Taunggu and 120 miles South-Southeast of Naypyitaw, Myanmar.Monsoon is strong to Vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Northwest Bay, Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.6 (M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (2) miles west-northwest of Aungmyaythazan), latitude 21.99°N, longitude 96.06°E, depth (12) kilometers, about (4) miles southwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (57)min (04)sec M.S.T on 29th September, 2026.
