BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Shan(North and East) State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon – Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
