BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 6:30 hrs MST today, the Land Depression has crossed West of NyaungU in Myanmar moved North-Northwestwards and weaken into a Well-marked Low Pressure Area. It is continue to move North-Northwestwards and persists East-Southeast of Matupi in Myanmar. It is likely to move North-Northwest and cross Chin, Myanmar, Southeast Bangladesh and Mizoram, India and weaken into Low Pressure Area.It present state of Well-Marked Low Pressure Area is coded as brown stage, it is crossing West of NyaungU in Myanmar.Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions  and Kachin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway Regions and Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
