Bay of Bengal situation

Three low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into the depression. Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Deltaic areas during (1-5) of October and from Southern Myanmar areas during (6-10) of October. Monsoon will be weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain conditions and rainy days

 Rain or thundershowers are likely above normal in Kayah, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, below normal in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Northern Shan States.

Rainy days are expected about 14 to 20 days in Yangon, East Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States and about 8 to 13 days in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, West Bago, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern & Eastern) Shan States.

Day Temperature

Day Temperature will be (1.5°C) above normal of October average Temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lsagaing Regions and Kachin State and about normal of October average Temperatures in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.  

Night Temperature

Night Temperature will be (1.5°C) above normal of October average Temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lsagaing Regions and Kachin State and about normal of October average Temperatures in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
