22-10-2026 According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu Coast(India), North Sri Lanka and Gulf of Mannar has reached over the Comorin Area (Southernmost tip of mainland India- Cape Comorin) and adjoining India(Southern coast of Tamil Nadu) and Keralam.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify gradually into a Depressionover the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, during next 24 hours and into a Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal ,during next 48 hours.
