SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Bago Region, fairly widespread in Yangon Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Mon States, isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.68) inches in Theinzayet, (1.22) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), (1.18) inches in Loilin, (1.03) inches in Phyu, (0.91) inch in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (0.82) inch in Yangon(Mayangone), (0.79) inch in Bago, (0.75) inch in Hlegu and (0.70) inch in Ingabu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Bago Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
