BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Storm “Sanba” over the South China Sea is likely forecast continue to move Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 19th October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Southern Shan, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern)Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather has been partly cloudy the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
