SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.74) inches in Chaungsone, (3.54) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (3.51) inches in Thaton, (3.19) inches in Khayan, (2.83) inches in Paung, (2.56) inches in Yangon(Northern Dagon), (2.52) inches in Hlegu, (2.48) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.28) inches in Mudon and (2.24) inches in Okkan.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Trough is passing through the Deltaic area of Myanmar.

SPECIAL FEACTURES:  According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Tropical Depression over the South China Sea has weakened into a Low Pressure Area.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11st October 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Kayah  States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
