BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and south Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 21st August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southren and Eastren)Shan states, fairly widespread Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in LowerSagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing,  Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
