BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal- North Odisha Coasts(India) now lies over North Odisha(India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and (Southern and Eastern )Shan ှState, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin , Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
