BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVERNING OF THE 20th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in  Kachin, Rakhine  and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeayarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
