BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay and a few cloudelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22ndMay, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be Fairly widspread in Taninthayi Region and Mon state, scattered in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in the Reamining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are starting over the Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of advancement of Southwest monsoon into the Southern Myanmar areas.
