BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 06th May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Taninthayi, Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
