SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Northern Shan, Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Mon States and (5°C) above February average temperature in Naypyitaw, Kayah State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (8°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Heho, Paletwa, Tiddim and Kyauktaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.24) inches in Bawlakhae, (1.46) inches in Taunggu, (1.38) inches in Taunggu(Avia-Met), (1.22) inches in Hpasaung, (1.18) inches in Loikaw, (0.94) inch in Minesat, (0.91) inch in Nyaunglaybin and (0.87) inch in Pyinmana(Walgyi).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
