BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and  a few cloud  elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th February, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widspread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan,  Kayah  States, scattered in  Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
