SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Magway Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin States, (5°C) to (6°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin State and (7°C) above February average temperature in Kayah State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Mongyang, (6°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Namsam and Heho and (8°C) each in Loilin and Paletwa.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
