BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “Sonca” over South China Sea centered at about (180)nautical miles East-Southeast of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is move to West-Northwestwards and will cross the Coast of middle Vietnam, around morning of (15.10.2022) and then weaken into a Land Depression.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 15th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Taninthayi, Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Lower Myanmar areas.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15th October, 2022:           One or two rain or thundershowers.  Degree of certainty is (100%).
