SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.52) inches in Machanbaw, (2.44) inches in Tamu, (2.08) inches in Mawlaik, (1.97) inches in Seiktha, (1.74) inches in Kalewa, (1.38) inches each in Mingin and Yamethin, (1.34) inches in Homalin, (1.10) inches each in Myingyan and Nyaung Oo and (1.02) inches in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal, off Andhra Pradesh Coast, India still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and reach to Andhra Pradesh Coast, India during next 24 hours. Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairy widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyawady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
