BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and

weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will 
be scattered in (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, 
Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the  
remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated 
heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. 
Degree of certainty is (100%). 

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about

(5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

 OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in the

Northern Myanmar areas.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 24th September, 2022:     Isolated

rain or thundershowers.  Degree of certainty is (100%).
