BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely intensify into a well marked low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India) during next (48) hours. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 09th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
