BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVERNING OF THE 21st August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in  Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,  Mandalay Regions and  widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in  Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan,  Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
