SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.48) inches in Hmawbi, (2.30) inches in Paing Kyone, (1.89) inches in Launglon, (1.34) inches in Phyarpon, (1.30) inches in Kyaik Lat, (1.20) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.11) inches in Ann, (1.07) inches in Sittwe and (1.02) inches each in Mogoke, Mawlamyine and Ye.  

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Nothern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
