SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, BagoRegions and Northern Shan, KayinStates, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.69) inchesinTiddim, (3.86) inches in Tamu, (2.56) inches in Hkamti,(2.17) inches in Putao, (1.57) inches in Zalun, (1.42) inches inLaunglon, (1.38) incheseach in Tongzan and Seiktha, (1.21) inches in Pyay, (1.18) inches in Khayan, (1.10) inches in Hlegu and (1.06) inches in Kyauktaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State,scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States and widespread inKachin, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will bemoderate in MyanmarWaters.Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region.
