SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.59) inches in Launglon, (3.46) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.98) inches in Pauk Taw, (2.71) inches in Dawei, (2.68) inchesin Kawthaung, (2.64) inches in Chaungsone, (2.56) inches in Gwa, (2.20) inches each in Sittwe and Paung, (2.16) inches in Ram Bree, (2.13) inches in Mawlamyineand (2.09) inches inPyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4thJuly, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread inNaypyitaw, Sagaing, MandalayRegions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarawady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
