BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate over the Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
