BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards andcentered at about (200) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Port Blair, (520) Nautical miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam, (550) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puri, (India), (290) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco-Island and (400) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar).Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 08th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along MyanmarCoasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
