SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures inTaninthayi Region and Kayah State, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay, Yangon Regions and (Southern and Easthern) Shan, Rakhine States and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C)in Heho, (5°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam, Pinlaung and Hakha and (7°C) in Pyinoolwin.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch each in Manchanbaw and Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th February, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
