SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and isolated in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (6°C) below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (3°C) to (4°C)  below December average temperatures in Yangon Region and Mon State, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State, (5°C) above December average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (7°C) above December average temperature in Chin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Namsam, (7°C) each in Heho and Loilin and (8°C) each in Mongyang and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.65) inches in Tiddim, (0.59) inch in Tongzan, (0.34) inch in Kalay, (0.27) inch in Mawlaik and (0.24) inch in Hakha.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists and it is forecast weakengradually. Weather is a few cloudto partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers willbe  widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 -7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
