BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “JAWAD” over the West central Bay of Bengal has moved slighly Northwestwards and centered at about (520) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco-Island, (580) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Pathein (Myanmar), (110) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Vishakhapatnam, (165)Nautical miles South-Southwest of Gopalpur, (205)Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri and (250)Nautical miles South- Southwest of Paradip (India). Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 5thDecember, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.
