SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair inNaypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in TaninthayiRegion, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Namsam and Heho and (7°C) each in Kyaukmae and Loilin.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “JAWAD” over the West central Bay of Bengal has moved slightly Northwards and centered at about (515) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco-Island, (550) Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (120) Nautical miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam, (170)Nautical miles South of Gopalpur, (210)Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri and (255)Nautical miles South- Southwest of Paradip (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5thDecember, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to beisolated in Upper Sagaing Regionand Chin, RakhineStates. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudyin Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.
