BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal(North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts) still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL  EVENING OF THE 16th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in  Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern )Shan,Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, (South)Shan, Chin , Rakhine  Kachin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in  Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
