SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers have beenisolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, scattered inNaypyitaw, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, KayahStatesand widespread inthe remaining Regions and States withregionally heavyfalls in Magway, Yangon and AyeyarwadyRegionsandisolated heavyfalls inRakhine, Kayin and Mon States.The noteworthy amount of rainfallrecorded were(5.20) inches in Ngathaichaung,(4.69) inches in Khayan,(4.65) inches in Kyeikkhame,(4.37)inches inLabutta, (4.13)inchesin Hlegu, (3.54) inchesin Gwa, (3.40) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi,(3.27) inches in Hmawbi, (3.15) inches in Nyauntone, (2.99) inches in Maubin, (2.92) inches in Bago and(2.83) inches in Kyeikmayaw.

BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “GULAB” which crossed theNorth Andhrapradesh - South Odisha Coasts between Kalingapatnam and Gopalpur, India has weaken into a deep depression. It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards and further weaken into a depression during next (6)hrs.Monsoon is weakover the Andaman Sea and SouthBay andmoderate to strong elsewhere over the Bayof Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28thSeptember, 2021:Rainor thundershowers will beisolated in Kachin State, scattered in Sagaing Region and Northern ShanState, fairly widespread in MandalayRegion and EasternShanStateandwidespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Ragion andRakhine State and isolated heavyfalls inMagway and Yangon Regions.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface windspeed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about(6 – 9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (4-6) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuation of thundery activities in the Central Myanmar areas.
