SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in LowerSagaing Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, scattered in Bago Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Chin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.82) inches in Myitkyina, (2.13) inches in Machanbaw, (1.97) inches in Mogaung, (1.93) inches in Launglon, (1.46) inches in Ye, (1.38) inches in Paletwa and (1.13) inches in Ann.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th August, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, MagwayRegions and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing,Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region andKachin State.
