BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (17:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 28th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and fairly widespread in Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Rakhine State.
