SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Magway Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regionsand Chin, Kayah Statesand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Eastern ShanState.The noteworthy amount of rainfallrecorded were(6.89) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit,(6.34) inchesinMawlamyine, (6.30)inches in Paung, (6.10) inches inKyeikmayaw, (5.62) inchesinKya-In-Seikkyi, (5.28) inches in Hpa-an, (5.12) inches in Taungdwingyi, (4.92) inches in Kawkareik, (4.56)inches in Kamamaung, (4.40) inches in Paing Kyone, (4.37) inches in Chaungsone, (4.09) inches in Mudon, (3.98) inches in Thandwe, (3.82) inches in Ye and (3.60)inches in Singu (Agro).

BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon isstrong to vigorous over theAndaman Sea andSouth Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21stJuly, 2021:Rainor thundershowers will bescattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State and widespreadin the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and ShanState. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will bemoderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (6-8)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
