BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weakelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about(7-9)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7)feet inDeltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
