SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, NorthernShan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Bago Regionand Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfallrecorded were (5.24) inches in Shwekyin, (4.57) inches in Madauk, (4.33) inches in Ye, (3.74) inches in Launglon, (3.59) inches eachin Thaton and Mudon, (3.55) inches in Kawkareik, (3.23) inches each in Mawlamyine and Chaungsone, (2.99) inches in Tamu, (2.91)inches in Gangaw, (2.87) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (2.76) inches each in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) and Maungdaw, (2.64) inches each in Kyaukpyu and Taungoo(Aviation).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weakelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 09th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
