SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.04) inches in Sittwe, (3.31) inches inMawlaik, (2.24) inches in Kungyangon, (1.69) inches each in Shwekyin and Belin, (1.54) inches in Central-Yangon, (1.42) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (1.34) inches in Bago, (1.22) inches in Myauk U and (1.18) inches in Phyu.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon ismoderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27thJune, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
