SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in (Sorthern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.64) inches in Moemate, (2.20) inches in Shwegwin(Hlaingbwe), (1.80)inches in Myitkyina, (1.77) inches in Mogoke, (0.71) inch in Thipaw, (0.67) inch in Gangaw and (0.56) inch each in Yangon(Mingaladon) and Myitsone(Moemate).
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
