BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 20th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, fairlywidespread in Kachin, Shan States, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest Monsoon into Southern Myanmar areas.
