SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above May averagetemperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (2°C) above May average temperature in Mon State and (2°C) belowMay average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Chin State and about May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthyamount of rainfall recorded were (1.06) inches each in Thaton and Belin, (0.90) inch in Kawkareik, (0.83) inch in Kyauktaw, (0.67) inch in Kyeikkhame, (0.63) inch in Kyeikmayaw and (0.55) inch in Paletwa.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagiang Region and Chin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
