BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy  over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 10th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10thMay, 2021:      Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
