SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Magway, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Mon States and widespread in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (4°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (5°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State, (3°C) below April average temperature in Yangon Region and (2°C) below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Myitkyina, Kalewa, Mingin, Gangaw, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Ann, Pyay, Zaung Tu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.17) inches in Labutta, (3.94) inches in Hpa-an, (2.40) inches in Kawthaung, (2.30) inches in Thazi(Agro), (2.05) inches in Minesat, (2.01) inches in Pyawbwe(Agro), (2.00) inches inTaunggyi, (1.93) inches in Pauk, (1.69) inches in Nyaunglaybin and (1.61) inches in Hpapun.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01stMay, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and fairly widespread the remaining Regions and States.
