SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inKayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Sagaing, Bago Regions and Shan, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (4°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above April average temperature in Kachin Stateand (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Yangon Region and Eastern Shan, Kayin States, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Kayah, Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Kalewa and (41°C)each in Nyaung Oo and Chauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.24) inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.97) inches in Kunlong, (1.89) inches in Kyaukse, (1.50) inches in Lunkyaw(Agro-Met), (1.22) inches in Nyaung Oo and (0.94) inch in Mindat.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Nothern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in the whole country.
