SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Nothern Shan, Kayin States, scattered in Southern Shan, Mon States and  isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and  Eastern Shan, Kayah States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (7°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (5°C) to (6°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and (2°C) above April average temperature in Southern Shan State, (3°C) below April average temperature in Taninthayi Region and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significantday temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Monywa, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo and Gangaw and (43°C) each in Varr, Mingin, Myinmu, Minbu, Magway and Pauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.57) inches in Chaungsone, (1.18) inches in Kawthaung, (0.94) inch in Namsam and (0.39) inch in Myit Nge.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region,scattered in Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regionsand Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhin State and fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and  Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
