SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Southern Shan State and isolated in Mon State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (8°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (5°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (3°C) above April average temperatures inNorthern Shan, Chin States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions andEastern Shan, Rakhine States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significantday temperatures were (44°C) each in Monywa and Chauk and (43°C) each in Myinmu, Minbu, Magway and Gangaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.83) inch in Launglon and (0.08) inch each in Taunggyi and Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region,scattered in Shan(South and East), Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regionsand Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
