SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and (2°C) below April average temperatures in Southern Shan and Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Tada U, Chauk and Gangaw and (41°C) each in Kalewa, Tamu, Monywa, Sagaing, Mandalay, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo and Zaung Tu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.12) inch each in Nyaung Shwe and Pyinoolwin, (0.08) inch in Mindat, (0.04) inch each in Monywa, Ye U and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is ‌a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isloated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the Remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 -6)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon Regions and Rakhine State.
