SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudyto cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States,(3°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) below April average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (3°C)to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah States, (8°C) below April average temperature in Naypyitaw and (9°C) below April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Tamu, Mingin, Gangaw,Pauk and Zaung Tu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.37) inches in Gyobingauk, (1.22) inches in Myawaddy, (1.02)inches in Okpho, (0.98) inch in Maubin, (0.90) inch in Yangon(Kaba-Aye) and (0.82) inch each in Yangon(Mingaladon Avia) and Zalun.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (09:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the NorthAndaman Sea has unimportance. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6thApril, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin State, scattered in Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
